Tinie Tempah is in the US promoting his album Disc-Overy but the Written In The Stars rapper revealed to the Daily Star that he has had to play to crowds of as little as ten, despite selling a million records in America.
Speaking to the newspaper he said
The American promo has been intense, because it’s so huge. I’ve had to perform at places where just 10 and 15 people turned up, which was a very humbling experience. They were into it though. Those are the kind of gigs you remember.
This must have come as a shock to the 22-year-old rapper who is used to selling out arenas. Tinie claims to have met with R&B sensation Usher while in the US and is positive they will be working together.
Hopefully the Confessions singer can help Tinie become a household name Stateside.
