The Twittersphere is buzzing with news that Grime Daily has been shut down on YouTube. Rumours suggest this was due to UK rapper Scorcher’s video for 96 Bars of Revenge.

The video above shows a one second clip of one of the lads waving a blade. Allegedly YouTube’s response to this was to banish Grime Daily from their video viral world for the rest of eternity.

However, there is some confusion as to whether this was the actual reason why Grime Daily was shut down.

Scorcher’s video is still up on his own YouTube channel – surely it would have been removed from there as well if it was the main cause?

Grime Daily have supposedly violated YouTube’s terms and conditions repeatedly, which may contribute to why they have been closedNeither Grime Daily nor YouTube have released a comment on the situation.

So was Scorcher’s video the straw that broke the camel’s back and got Grime Daily in trouble? Or do Grime Daily have a previous history of YouTube mishaps?
