N-Dubz Fazer has come out as the latest X factor hater. Now you’d have thought that the rapper would be a firm supporter of the show since fellow band mate Tulisa Contostavlos became the nation’s new favourite judge on the panel, but this isn’t the case.
The rapper told The Mirror that those who apply for the X Factor take the easy root to get themselves into the industry.
My problem with X Factor is you come in as a nobody and then the next day you sell over a million records and you haven’t necessarily done any of the work to go with it… We worked 12 years to get to where we are. Heartbreaks, broken promises, ups and downs, tears and smiles. You name it, it has happened.
Despite this he did acknowledge the fact that a lot of British talent has emerged from the TV series saying
It gives people the chance to get on stage in front of a live audience and important industry people and get people to hear their sound…. There wouldn’t be people like JLS, and there wouldn’t be no Leona either.
Ahh! Contradiction at its best.
Do you think Fazer has a point? Or is this just a pointless rant?
