Last night saw the return of the Urban Music Awards which had been postponed for the last two years due to a stabbing at the event in 2008 which left three people injured. The awards took place at Porchester Hall in London and thankfully last night there was less blood and more sparkle as stars shined on the red carpet.
There were performances by Chipmunk and US rapper Mann, with appearances from everyone’s favourite slag Imogen Thomas, everyone’s favourite player Lucien Laviscount and everyone’s favourite Z-list model Caprice.
There was also an appearance from David Hasselhoff who presented an award that night and Top Shop heiress Chloe Green, as well as Natasha from the former Atomic Kitten who wouldn’t miss any opportunity to keep herself relevant.
Winners of the night included Jessie J, Ed Sheeran and Chipmunk, but the night belonged to Wretch 32 who walked away with four awards including Best single, Best HipHop Act, Best Music Video, and Artist of the Year. For a full list of the winners go here.
