36-year-old Diane Richards was left fuming when she was told to leave a hair salon with her weave half done after police raided Indian’s hair salon in Camberwell, south London this month.
Dianne, who was only in the salon because her regular hairdresser was fully booked, saw 30 police officers barge their way through the shop, interrupting Diane’s weaving session and arresting her hair dresser! She said of the incident
It was a terrifying nightmare. I was pushed up against a wall and was searched by police. I tried explaining I was a customer, but they didn’t want to know… There were only about five people in the shop at the time, so I couldn’t understand why there was a need for so many police to storm into the place and why they had to be so rude and unprofessional.
Diane had to leave the salon with her weave half done and with part of her hair combed straight up in the air. Cringe!
I had people staring at me in the street and it was so embarrassing that I had to rush into a shop to buy a hat
A 27-year-old man was arrested for possession with intent to supply drugs. A 31-year-old woman was also arrested for copyright theft and a 38-year-old man was arrested for possession with intent to supply drugs and copyright theft.
Now that’s what I call a bad hair day! Imagine walking out your salon with only half of that Indian hair weave sewn in. *Holds back tears*
