Leona Lewis was joined by former Sugababe Keisha Buchanan and Pixie Lott to raise funds for the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary last Sunday.

The Bleeding Love singer is a patron for the sanctuary and got the help of her celeb pals to raise funds at this weekend’s Christmas Fayre.

Leona has spent the best part of the year at the farm determined to keep it open after the owner, Ernie Clark, died from liver cancer last year. The 26-year-old star has already raised £14,000 from a sponsored walk this October and even hosted a star-studded fundraiser in Beverley Hills.

And though I probably wouldn’t spend my weekend on a farm, we’re glad the girls are doing something for the community even if it does involve a date with some horses.

Hopefield cares for 200 animals and needs to raise £1million to secure its future by buying the land it is currently based on.
