A shocking video has been made available of paramedics fighting to save the life of the 18-year-old man who was stabbed to death in Oxford Street on Boxing Day 26 December.

The video shows the victim being attended to by paramedics as police try their best to move the shocked crowd away from the scene.

It is being reported that the victim was involved in a clash with some young men when he was stabbed inside the Oxford Street branch of Foot Locker.

Witnesses said the young men began arguing over a box of trainers before the victim was stabbed in the chest. It is believed the group were on a shoplifting spree and were arguing over who stole what.

A witness said the killing may be linked to an attack last week, in which a 22-year-old man was shot twice in the chest.

A police spokesman confirmed that the murder took place during a confrontation between two groups and a  large number of weapons have been found.
