It was only a matter of time before someone wrote a song about everyone’s favourite trouble making footballer Mario Balotelli, so Spaceship rapper Tinchy Stryder put himself forward to drop a track specially dedicated to the Manchester City bad boy.

The track, which is called Mario Balotelli (Ruff Sqwad) comes from Tinchy’s new Wish list EP and features sound clips from Mario saying ‘I’m different, I’m Mario’. The famous line ‘Why always me?’, which was originally printed onto a t-shirt he revealed to crowds when he scored against Manchester United back in October, is repeated throughout the chorus, which isn’t the slightest bit annoying *excuse the sarcasm*.

As well as paying homage to his new found musical inspiration, Tinchy also makes the effort to clarify that he isn’t going into the Celebrity Big Brother house with the line, ‘And I said no to the BB house, figure they offered had a man like wow’. Big Brother bosses must have thrown a whole lot of money at Tinchy for him to keep banging on about it.

Well it’s certainly no Candle In The Wind, but Tinchy’s dedication to Mario is erm… sweet, right? Have a listen and tell us what you think.
