Imagine being one of Team GB’s greatest medal hopes for this summer’s Olympics and an absolutely stunning model, well that’s the life that  26-year-old Jessica Ennis, a heptathlete from Sheffield, is living.

She took a quick break from her rigourous training regime to pose for Podium Magazine. In the interview, Jessica admits she loves to get dressed up, saying

Because I’m in tracksuits all the time at training, I like to get dressed up and get my hair and make-up done, I’ve done quite a few shoots, but I’m not a model so it’s still quite alien to me, though I do enjoy doing them. When you’re working with a good photographer and you get some direction, it’s great.

With the Olympics fast approaching, the athlete admits she is getting a bit nervous into the run up:

Now it has become real – and it’s on my mind, I’m anxious to know what the year is going to bring, but really looking forward to it, too.

And we’re looking forward to your legs on the cover of more magazines!
