Whitney Houston’s death last night has shocked the world, as we have lost a woman who was undeniably one of the greatest artists of all time.
Houston was found in the bathtub of her suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on the eve of the 54th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony. She was there to attend the pre-awards party of her mentor Clive Davis. As we write, the cause of death is still unclear.
The 48-year-old, who sold hundreds of millions of records and won countless Grammys, Emmys and other awards, influenced singers and musicians around the world for over three decades. Here is the reaction from some British celebrities.
