Former employee and winner of The Apprentice Tim Campbell was awarded an MBE earlier this week for services to enterprise culture via his Bright Ideas Trust which gives support and funding to young people who wish to start their own businesses but have been unable to do so due having a disadvantaged background.

Tim (who won the first ever series back in 2005) was given his MBE title by Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday. Former boss Lord Sugar tweeted later during the day

We are all very proud of you! Well done!

He joins the likes of other black MBE’s such as Lennox Lewis, Ian Wright, and Ade Adepitan.
