An exiled Muslim hate preacher (who was deported and banned from Britain after spending seven years in jail for soliciting murder) is still broadcasting his extremist views to the UK through the internet.
Although 48-year-old Abdullah el-Faisal is now based in Jamaica, he preaches live to the UK six nights a week and even records his rants so that they are available online at all times.
Faisal has previously advocated the killing of Jews, Christians and Americans and encourages his listeners to set up a network of secret mosques where extremist views can be voiced, giving his followers code names so their identities are protected.
The Sun reports:
More than 40 of his followers have been given code names beginning with the prefix AT — indicating his website Authentic Tawheed — followed by a number.
His brainwashing has already radicalised a number of British Muslims including Samantha Lewthwaite, who is the widow of a 7/7 bomber and is now wanted in Kenya over a terror plot and prosecutors have claimed he preached to Zacarias Moussaoui, a member of Al-Qaeda and affiliated with the 9/11 attacks.
Faisal’s preaching condones jihad, or holy war, and old tapes of lectures he has given hear him telling Muslim women to buy toy guns for their sons as a form of training.
He has now been brought to the attention of Foreign Secretary William Hague and also Tory MP Patrick Mercer, who on Monday night declared that his broadcasting needed to be ‘closed down’.
