Dizzee Rascal has revealed that his fifth album will have a more American sound than his former projects and apparently it’s all thanks to Snoop Dogg.

The Bonkers star hopes to break America through their new found love for dubstep music, he told The Sun:

They are loving dubstep over there and it’s all pretty banging.

He went on to explain that Snoop Dogg has helped him make contacts in the US, which he is using to his advantage while he records his upcoming album and chills in his new Miami pad. Lucky him.

I’ve been in Vegas and LA as well, where I met up with Snoop Dogg. He hooked me up with a load of producers so I’ve done a lot with them… I live in Miami now as well as here so I go back and forth.

Despite having American producers at his disposal, he is still (slightly) staying true to his UK roots by hooking up with Calvin Harris again, who he worked with on Dance Wiv Me.

However, we wonder if Dizzee might do an Estelle on us and decide the music industry grass is greener Stateside.
