Emeli Sandé has publically supported the upcoming reunion of the original Sugababes lineup, after writing a track for the group’s new album which the original line up say will be released in Autumn.

For those of you who have forgotten the original lineup we had whilst growing up, it was Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy. Emeli Sandé certainly seems confident in the abilities of the original Sugababes as she told The Sun:

What we’ve done so far sounds great… They’re going to make people stand up and notice.

With girl bands not doing too well this year and fierce competition from Stooshe, we’ll have to wait and see if the original Sugababes will make a killer comeback.
