It’s been almost two weeks since Bolton FC player Fabrice Muamba collapsed mid-way through a match. And the footballer’s fiancée Shauna Magunda posted a picture on Twitter today showing a smiling Muamba propped up in a hospital bed.
Muamba’s heart stopped for 78 minutes as paramedics fought to save his life on 17 March during the Tottenham vs Bolton game at White Hart Lane. And 15 defibrillator shocks were administered before he began to show signs of life.
Muamba’s fiancée wrote alongside the image:
Fab wanted me to post this pic for you all and to also say thank you for such overwhelming support.
Well we’re glad he’s made a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the pitch again soon.
Oh and in other news, the scum who posted racist Tweets about Muamba has lost an appeal for an early release and was jailed for 56 days on Tuesday.
There’s a bit of justice for ya!
