Danny Campbell claims that the Man City player was speeding before he collided with the 18-year-old’s Vauxhall Corsa. The accident happened in Manchester city centre on Thursday afternoon and left Campbell in hospital with concussion and whiplash.
Danny told the Sun:
If the impact had been closer to the driver’s door, it would have killed me. It spun my car around 360 degrees and I was in total shock.
His father Sam witnessed the crash and was disappointed by Balotelli’s inaction. He told the Sun:
He should have got out and made sure that Danny was OK. He was there for an hour and didn’t come and check.
And for the Balotelli fans who are worried about his well-being, he seems to be doing just fine and was even spotted driving a £45,000 Range Rover Evoque yesterday. Danny on the other hand believes his car is a write-off and will probably have to rely on public transport until Greater Manchester Police finish off their inquiries.
