Kelly Rowland has revealed that she will not be returning to the X Factor this year due to her international commitments.

The announcement that she is leaving on her own terms finally puts a stop to the rumours of her being axed from the judging panel by overlord Simon Cowell. The former Destiny’s Child star said

I love the UK and being part of the show last year. Mentoring the girls was such an incredible experience I will never forget.  I would like to thank Simon for the great opportunity and asking me to be a judge last season

So far Gary Barlow is the only judge confirmed for the next series of X Factor, but no doubt Louis Walsh and Tulisa will be signing deals shortly. Tulisa hinted that she’s close to signing on Alan Carr’s show at the weekend.

It is also rumoured that Dannii Minogue may make a return, which isn’t surprising given the sudden surge of media attention surrounding her and the fling she had with Simon during their time together on the show in 2010.

With the auditions beginning on 15 May, we’re intrigued to see who will be lured in to replace Kelly and her moving mole. As Long as it’s not Cheryl or Alexandra Burke, we’ll take anyone.
