A group of 100 youths, who go by the name of the Wiganstreetmafia, attacked a McDonald’s restaurant in Wigan, Greater Manchester on 10 April. The footage that was uploaded onto YouTube four days later, saw the group of yobs jumping over the counters, entering the food preparation unit and throwing food and litter across the restaurant as well as stealing and chanting:

Oh Wigan Town is wonderful, it’s full of t**s, pies and rugby, oh Wigan Town is wonderful.

A source told Pappzd:

It was madness, they came from nowhere… You could tell that everyone was confused, no one really knew how to handle the situation. The staff were just helpless, half of the people involved were just kids themselves some of them appeared drunk.

Sergeant Nicola Williams from Wigan Neighbourhood Policing Team said:

It is not acceptable to behave like this in a family restaurant. We have launched an investigation to identify those responsible and bring them to justice.

The incident, which took place at the Standishgate branch, left staff terrified and the fast food chain giant has declared that they are offering their full support to those affected by the shock of the incident.

We don’t know about you, but we think someone should offer the brave members of staff working that day a promotion! Or some free happy meal toys at least.
