Our favourite urban stars turned up for the premiere of Ill Manors in Leicester Square last night, the brand new film written and directed by Plan B, real name Ben Drew… not Professor Green… ahem The Metro.
The film is a glimpse at real urban London and the tagline ‘We are all products of our environment. Some environments are just harder to survive in’ has us intrigued and asking ourselves whether the film will be the same as some of the other UK urban films out there.
With so many of our favourite celebrities out, we had to have a look at what they were wearing. So here it is, the sick, the ill and the ones who should learn some fashion manners.
The Sick (Outfits that we liked)
The man himself rose to the occasion in a sharp grey suit, white shirt and black tie. His drastic weight loss and new grown up style is a huge change from the hoodie wearing teenager he played in Adulthood.
Plan B has transformed himself from an extra to a director, and damn does he look good!? Just look at the shine on those shoes!
The boy sure does love grey and we can see why, it definitely suits him.
Tinie went for a smart casual look with a pair of light blue jeans and a loose white t-shirt, smarting it up a little with a grey blazer and his trademark geek chic glasses.
He looks relaxed and bang on trend. We are loving the addition of the swanky gold watch and a hint of the gold chain to amp up the look.
The Ill (The best outfits on the night)
The ladies really brought their A-game on the red carpet last night.
Alesha Dixon looked amazing in a super cute office inspired ensemble.
She managed to keep the look classy while showing lots of leg by choosing a high curly ponytail with a side parting, not exposing her chest, and going for a smart blazer to complete the preppy look.
She kept the outfit sassy and sexy with silk pussy-bow detailing and red platform shoes.
Finally Miss Burke gets it right!
After being in our bad books for so long, the singer actually wore something that we would wear ourselves. Alexandra went for a tight – but covered up – high necked jumper dress which showed off her curves perfectly without being too exposed.
By teaming the dress with a pair of rock chick black platform boots Alexandra turns from sugar and spice to daring diva in an instant. The addition of the dip-dyed ends and the red lips is a winning combination. Stunning.
Ill Mannered (Should’ve stayed at home)
Snakeyman, aka Arnold Oceng, is right to be looking a little sheepish in this photo.
The rapper and actor strutted down the red carpet in this interesting ensemble which featured two different types of denim. The shame.
We really think Arnold could have made a bit more of an effort – it was a red carpet after all.
Now don’t get us wrong, we love a bit of Wretch 32 but when this picture landed on our desk this morning we didn’t really know where to look.
The jacket is the main point of confusion for us. Is it a body warmer? Is it blazer? Is it a biker jacket?
For those who can understand what’s going on, it’s a great outfit with lots of different textures and a fabulous statement collared shirt, but for us, it’s just not doing it.
Ill Manors is out in cinemas on 6 June.
