The thought of the Eurovision song contest excites us as much as being locked in a room with Leona Lewis and Rebbecca Ferguson. We’d rather not endure it.

Eurovision’s biggest fan, Rita Ora has admitted that pulling out of the contest was the best decision of her career. The R.I.P singer was a contestant on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Your country Needs You, but decided to quit the show when she realised that winning and being entered into Eurovision was likely to be career suicide.

The 21-year-old told the Daily star:

I had a gut instinct it was the wrong thing. Nothing against Eurovision but it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

.. I grew as an artist after that and I think it has helped not having the Eurovision tag.

Well yeah, I mean who wants to be remembered as that Eurovision flop. Or actually, not remembered. No offence Jade Ewen. *Awkward*
