Film producers have been working real hard recently. This summer sees not just one but three British urban films being released.
As usual, they wouldn’t be complete without a few famous industry faces.
If this film is like the rest of Noel Clarke’s film portfolio, it’s sure to not disappoint. With the Olympics around the corner, this film focuses on the struggles and successes of a fictional Team GB’s women relay team. Starring Being Humans’ Lenora Crichlow.

According to critics, his directorial début, Ill Manors, is set to be a cracker. The rapper-come-actor-come-singer revealed how he wanted to shine a light on Britain’s gang culture and why it exists, particularly gangs in London.

The focus is on a young man trying to break out of a life of crime that results in unimaginable consequences. Starring a host of urban actors and actresses such as Adam Deacon, Ashley Madewkwe, Shanika Warren Markland, David Harewood and more.
Victim is out on 22 June.
Cockney Vs Zombies
Originally set for release last year, this horror comedy film is reminiscent of Shaun of the Dead and features rapper Bashy.
There is still no official release date but sources say a late summer release is expected.
