Yestarday a UEFA spokesman promised that they were “looking into reports” which has lead them to the decision today to open disciplinary proceeding against Croatia, another of their spokesmen said

UEFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) for the setting-off and throwing of fireworks, and the improper conduct of supporters (racist chants, racist symbols) at the UEFA Euro 2012 Group C match against Italy in Poznan on Thursday.

21-year-old Balotelli previously said that he would ‘kill’ anyone who threw a banana at him during the Championships.  Though a spokesman from the Italian Federation said that there hasn’t been an “official” complaint made form the team.
