She’s on our radios, iPods, TV screens and now that she’s touring we can even seen her live, everybody loves a bit of Jessie J.

BUT, would you still love her if you realised that the creativity behind her music wasn’t entirely her own? We didn’t think so.

The Laserlight singer is being sued by American artist Will Loomis because her song Domino has suspicious similarities to his song Bright Red Chords, which was released in 2009 with his band Loomis and the Lust.

Loomis believes that Jessie  knowingly took significant parts of his song and used it in her single without his consent. Subtle right?

He also took to Facebook and said

When I wrote this melody in my garage I never imagined it would be sung for the King and Queen of England and I especially never imagined it would be sung by Jessie J

And as much as we love Jessie J we only had to listen to 20 seconds of Loomis’ song to realise that she was a tea leaf. Listen to Bright Red Chords below, do you think Jessie’s about to lose a lot of moolah?
