It seems the British media can never get it right when it comes to reporting about Rihanna.

First MTV was verbally abused by the controversial singer for printing a story about her allegedly taking the white stuff. And now The Sun, Britain’s best selling tabloid which nobody admits to reading, may have to do some grovelling after Rihanna gave the paper a piece of her mind for publishing a false story about her health.

The Sun published a story claiming that Rihanna cancelled a planned trip to Britain due to ill health.

The Where Have You Been star had planned to stay in the capital for a few months to film scenes for a new Sky Living series, but cancelled her trip last minute. The paper wrote that the cancellation was down to poor health caused by constant partying.

Rihanna tweeted:

Unlike the scaredy-cats that MTV UK proved themselves to be, the Sun have not removed their story. Cos they’re gangster like that.
