Having hooked up with some familiar faces on his It’s All Love Remix (featuring Bashy, Kano, Wretch 32 and Talay Riley), Scorcher has revealed that for his next collaboration he would like to work with someone a little less predictable: Gary Barlow.

He told Maxim:

Ahh, do you know who I’d really like to make a song with? Gary Barlow. He is WAVEY!

Although we’re struggling to imagine the Take That member and north London MC appearing on a track together (especially a grime track), stranger things have happened.

Last year Gary attempted to prove that he was ‘down with the kids’ and the urban music scene by organising the official single for Children In Need 2011. He selected a number of stars such as Dot Rotten, Tinchy Stryder and Ms Dynamite to form a group called The Collective and record the song Teardrop.

And let’s not forget that grime artists are working with pop stars more and more these days, including Scorcher’s BFF Wretch 32 who recently linked up with Cheryl Cole (allegedly in more ways than one) on her new single Screw You.

So what about Gary Barlow for the Lipsin Ting remix?
