It looks like Scorcher is settling in nicely as a new dad and even though we’re upset that the chances of him falling in love with one of the ladies at Pappzd is even more unlikely, we’re glad that being a father has brought out his soft side.
Scorcher spoke exclusively to Pappzd Magazine at the Beats Shoreditch event, and when we had finished talking about music and staring at his face, we decided to delve a little deeper and ask the Its All Love artist how it felt to be a father, he answered:
It feels great man, he’s a really good boy so it kinda makes the whole fatherhood fun, so it’s kinda nice. It’s nice to wake up with him and put him to sleep and when I don’t see him a little bit I miss him a little bit.
Aww! And when asked what he saw for his son’s future he said…
I want my son, when he grows up, to be himself. I don’t want him to be influenced by me, his mum (Sadie Ama) or anyone other than himself, I kinda growing up, didn’t really know what I wanted to do but I knew I didn’t want to do any of the things that they say to you in school. Anything my son wants to do I just want to support him
So what do you think, will Scorcher’s son be an artist just like him?
