Current Sugababe Heidi Range has expressed her well wishes towards former bandmates and original Sugababes Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan – who are now collectively calling themselves Mutya Keisha Siobhan. Creative!
The reunion of Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan has been a long time coming since the last remaining original Sugababe, Keisha Buchanan left the group. However, Heidi reassures us – and herself – that there are no hard feelings:
I think good luck to them. I saw the girls at V Festival a few weeks back and said ‘hello’ and wished them all the luck. I’ve not heard any of the songs yet but I’m sure they’ll be great.
Hmm, seems like a clever plan for her to keep her ex-bandmates sweet, especially seeing as the current Sugababes haven’t released anything new since last year. She went on:
The three of them are brilliant singers, so I’m looking forward to hearing the songs.
Begging it. She then went on to say that there was definitely no beef between any of the girls.
There have been enough line-up changes and stuff that I think it doesn’t make any difference now.
She’s right with that one, the Sugababes have had so many members I’m sure they’d forget who to hate.
With Mutya, Keisha, Siobhan promising to release music by the end of the year, Heidi probably realises she needs to be nice as the current Sugababes are becoming increasingly irrelevant with people even speculating that they’ve split.
We’ve not actually split, we kind of want to take time out and do our own thing,
Yup, that sounds like a plan. Lay low whilst your ex-bandmates are planning their long awaited comeback. Good stuff.
