As the east coast of America prepares for Hurricane Sandy which is predicted to cause major storms and flooding over highly populated areas, some UK celebs have gone on Twitter to tweet their concern and support for those who may be affected.
David Harewood, star of hit American drama Homeland, is currently back in the UK and has tweeted his well wishes:
It's a bit breezy out! Blimey. Hurricane Sandy is kicking up a storm. Hope everyone in New York is ok.

However some people can’t help but think of themselves and have some self-centred fears about the storm:
Is that american storm coming our way?

I’m pretty sure Sandy isn’t on it’s way here but thanks for your concern, Noel Clarke.
We hope everyone in America stays safe.
