Nas has decided to do a one-off gig in London and donate £1 from each ticket sold to The Amy Winehouse Foundation. The charity was set up after Amy’s death with aims to help young people who are troubled.

The gig is due to take place at London’s O2 on 19 March next year and Nas is expected to perform tracks from his latest album, Life Is Good, which features collaborations with the late star.

Talking of the event, Amy’s father, Mitch Winehouse said:

The donation of £1 per ticket will help us continue our support of disadvantaged young people, and we at the Foundation very much appreciate this magnificent gesture.

Meek Mill will also be joining Nas for the show and tickets are on sale from today.
