So Solid Crew’s founder, Megaman (real name Dwayne Vincent) faces charges of affray after an incident at a Birmingham nightclub in February.
Mega was said to have been involved in an incident with two other men at the Sugar Suite nightclub on Broad Street on 17 February of this year.
It is reported that Mega was there to support fellow So Solid Crew member Romeo (real name Marvin Dawkins) who was playing a DJ set on the night but the event ended in a riot between two groups of clubbers. Romeo is not involved in the court case.
A spokesman for West Midlands Crown Prosecution Service said:
We can confirm that three men have been charged with affray and are due to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on November 13 for a plea and case management hearing.
Certainly doesn’t help the group’s future reputation, considering two ex-members went on a reality TV series to help change the public’s perception of them and were pretty successful in doing so.
Talk about one step forward and 100 steps back.
