Hosted by Radio 1 DJ and mother-to-be Fearne Cotton, this year’s Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards was celebrated at The V&A Museum in South Kensington last night.

But this year the US singer and X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger, 34, pulled out all the stops wearing this glamorous backless white dress with hot pink heels.

As well as being the hottest woman at the event, Nicole was also awarded the Ultimate Fun Fearless Female Award. Not surprisingly the former Pussy Cat Doll and X Factor judge outshone her X Factor colleague and fashion rival Tulisa, who yet again ignored her stylists and wore a very unflattering canary yellow dress with tacky silver detailing.

Wouldn’t be the first time she grabbed something quickly from Kilburn Market…

Here’s a tip Tulisa, take notes from Nicole. End of tip.

But not everyone had a fashion meltdown. One actress who dared to wear this busty number by Hussein Chalayan was Fresh Meat star Zawe Ashton. The 28-year-old from Hackney walked away with the Ultimate Newcomer Award.

Damn Zawe, you are brave, there could easily have been a wardrobe malfunction with this dress, but gosh it’s sexy.
