Why: Wale Adeyemi is a well respected figure in British urban fashion and has made his mark in the UK with his brand previously being endorsed by such faces as Ms Dynamite, Beyonce, David Beckham and more recently Fazer from N-Dubz, this will be a great chance to gain a insight of his new B-Side range in the heart of East London and possibly be ahead of the trend with your peers.

Why: If you’re a fan of Kidulthood and Ill Manors this is the ideal film for you, relating to the youth of today with hard hitting reality. Set on a council estate in Hackney, the bond between brothers is tested by their actions and affected by their surroundings.

What: Supa Dupa Fly Presents Vince Kidd

Why: A night for 90’s era Hip Hop lovers with DJ’s Emily Rawson and DJ Big Ted selecting the groundbreaking music from the yesteryears. Features a performance from Vince Kidd, who was a hit on The Voice UK earlier this year.

What: 1 Xtra Live 2012 Brixton
When: Monday 12 November 2012
Where: Brixton Academy

Why: BBC 1Xtra host a big live show which comes to Brixton Academy on Monday. Big acts like Trey Songz, man of the moment Kendrick Lamar, Tulisa, Angel and Wizkid come together to ensure a tremendous show.

What: BBC 1Xtra Live Manchester
When: Tuesday 13 November 2012
Where: Manchester Apollo

Why: BBC 1Xtra Live brings their show to Manchester with another incredible line up, this time featuring Rita Ora, Misha B, Grime legend Wiley, DJ Fresh and soulful singer Daley. Part of the 1Xtra Live series.

What: Canary Wharf Ice Rink Experience

Why: Ice Skating in front of Canary Wharf with stunning backdrops of the East London skyline. Pop up stores and bars add to the experience and the ice rink is sure to get everyone in the festive spirit. A great date idea as well as a family favourite.

Why: A celebration of black film and television, dubbed the Black BAFTA’s. Highlights the achievements made this year by black actors and behind-the-scenes crew in the film and television industry. Presented by DJ Sarah Jane Crawford and Wil Johnson.

Why: A night of true lyrics and strong wordplay. It may take you a little while to understand what the UK rapper is saying but it will be well worth the headache.
