A teenager from Hackney, has been jailed for involvement in a shooting which took place in the Pembury Close estate in Hackney, north-east London.

The 16-year-old teenager, named Miles Addy was seen on the CCTV exchanging gun fire with two male bikers.

Miles admitted that he was in possession of a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger lives and protect his own.

Reports from the courts say local residents described hearing gunfire and seeing a man in a hurried state trying to get into the property at Pembury Close, which is where Miles Addy was reported to live.

The Police search encountered more hidden revelations about the incident and findings revealed dozens of empty bullet shells outside the scene of the crime.

Miles Addy was sentenced yesterday at Snaresbrook Crown Court and faces an eight-year sentence.
