She might be the most successful X Factor product but Leona Lewis’ latest single Lovebird has failed to chart within the top 200 singles, 9 days after its UK release.

Despite the fact that the album Glassheart which the single is featured on gave Leona her first number one record, the 200th song in the charts sold 600 copies – meaning Lovebird sold even less than that.

The poor sales have been blamed on the fact that there wasn’t enough marketing behind the single (they all say that, don’t they?) but that might have some truth because to be honest I didn’t even realise that she had a new song out.
