Jermaine Johnson-Chambers brother of a victim who was stabbed in the same spot that 17-year-old Dogan Ismail was stabbed in just three months earlier has spoken out about the attack for the first time.
21-year-old Shaun Chambers, who was studying business just like Dogan Ismail was, was killed on Aylesbury Estate on 28 September 2012 -not far from where Dogan was stabbed – from a single stab wound through the heart. Talking to the Evening Standard, Shaun’s brother Jermaine said:
It happened at the same spot. A lot of people have been talking to us about it and it’s been hard because it’s brought it all back.
Talking of Shaun who was an expectant father to a baby which is due next month, Jermaine added:
He was genuinely loved, a well mannered and humble person who will be truly missed.
A 16-year-old has been charged with Shaun’s murder with a trial at the Old Bailey due to take place this year.
