RnB singer Ciara was spotted over the last few days doing promo rounds for her forthcoming album, One Woman Army and last night, the singer was seen making her way to promote the project at London’s DSTRKT bar and restaurant.
CiCi strutted her way to the venue with her signature tomboy style, in a chic Givenchy tee and a pair of black and white Nike Jordans.
The singer went to the popular restaurant and bar to perform some of her previous hits as well as some new songs from her latest album, while greeting fans as she finished wrapping up her seven city promotional tour of Europe.
She then posted a picture of herself on her Instagram with loyal fans, better known as the C-Squad:
Ciara was also snapped finishing an on-air interview with Choice FM host, Manny Norte earlier during the same day, as she played him new music from her album and discussed the direction of the project.
One Woman Army is expected to be released at some point this year, while Ciara is said to be finishing up the recording process very soon.
The album has so far produced two singles, Sorry and Got Me Good, which have received lukewarm receptions and charting positions since being released last year, causing the project to come to a sudden halt.
Her mentor and head of Epic Records, L.A. Reid has resigned from judging on X Factor USA to focus on the artists on his roster, including Ciara. He signed her to Epic once she had pleaded her former label Jive to let her go, due to the lack of promotion and funding for her last two albums, which were commercial disasters.
Hopefully this means she will definitely not drop the ball with the project, because it would be great to see her do a full headlining show in London as she’s definitely one of the best entertainers about.
