A 14-year-old girl was flanked by her mother while she stood in the dock at the Old Bailey today, where she denied charges of murder after 15-year-old football fan, Junior Nkwelle, was stabbed to death on 27 September last year.

The girl, who cannot be named, and another boy now aged 17, is believed to have stabbed Junior metres from his home on the Loughborough Estate in Brixton, as he made his way home from football practice after school.
