The foursome will be in residence in the interactive music zone at Madame Tussauds London for 10 weeks only from today to 24 March 2013.
They will be joining other contemporary music icons from Lady Gaga to Michael Jackson as well as legends from the past, from Bob Marley to Elvis.
Chip has performed with both P Diddy and Snoop
Dogg Lion before, and found it difficult to choose his favourite between the legendary rappers who were at the centre of the East Coast – West Coast rivalry which saw 2Pac and B.I.G lose their lives in the nineties.
The 22-year-old iconic London rapper said:
To see rap being celebrated at Madame Tussauds is incredible and inspirational for the UK rap scene. Maybe in a few years they will be making a UK rapper; I’m working on it!
These four were real heroes to me when I was growing up and their music lives on through our generation. It’s amazing that they have now been united on one platform. They look so life like it’s surreal.
He also performed a special rap for the event… and then took some time out to take snaps of him and the waxworks.
Wonder how long it’ll be until there’s a UK rappers version of the exhibition?
And if there is, will Chip be worthy enough to be immortalised in wax? What do you think?
