Singer Tulisa and Made in Chelsea’s Francis Boulle have decided to give back to the community and youth by helping to launch the National Citizen Service event – a programme designed to help 16 to 17-year-olds build life and work skills.
The cause was probably close to Tulisa’s heart and was surely close to her home, as it took place at Koko in Camden – the borough in which she grew up in.
Speaking on the cause, the 24-year-old We Are Young singer said:
It’s great to be part of the 2013 launch of NCS. Saying yes to NCS is great way for 16 and 17 year olds to create their own future and build their confidence.
I don’t think anyone should ever underestimate what young people can achieve – and NCS is a brilliant way to get a life-changing journey started.
And if there’s anyone who knows about grafting hard from a young age, then it’s Tulisa.
