The vInspired National Awards took place at Camden Roundhouse yesterday, and along with hosts Eddie Kadi and Katie Piper, celebrities attended to the ceremony which recognises young volunteers who worked with vInspired.
The Saturdays, The Risk, Misha B and A*M*E were also there to give awards out to the volunteers who were nominated by their communities.
A*M*E performed her latest single Play The Game, who spoke to us about her sound saying:
I describe my sound as pop, I try to add my own influences in but is just pop music.
The Saturdays also attended to perform their number one single What About Us, as well as previous hits Ego and Fired Up. Rochelle was absent from the group as she is on maternity leave, and when asked about absent bandmembers’ expanding families Molly said:
Now that Rochelle and Una are both mothers, we might just all go off and have babies!
We hope not, girls!
And when talking about a possible collaboration with pop boyband counterpart JLS, Molly went on to say:
I don’t think we could ever work with JLS, there would be way too many of us!
She has a point there.
