RnB singer Jay Sean will release his brand new studio album Neon on 21 May via Cash Money Records, as confirmed by boss of the label, Birdman.

The singer will release a new single, Where You Are, which will hit radio and iTunes on 19 March as a follow-up to his previous single from the project, So High.

The release date was revealed on Birdman’s Instagram account, along with release dates for many other YMCMB artists and once confirmed, Jay quickly reposted it to his own account to share the exciting news with his fans.

Jay recently revealed that he had worked in the studio with Pharrell Williams and announced that he had also worked with rappers Lupe Fiasco and Pitbull.

I wonder if he’ll have any big bangers on the project like Down, his previous collaboration with Lil’ Wayne.

With that song in particular, the singer actually made history by becoming the first solo artist of South Asian origin to top the US Hot100 chart, so if he finds similar success with this album he’ll definitely be raising the bar for future Asian artists.
