Dappy lost his challenge against his conviction for assault and affray today. The 25-year-old rapper did not attend the court hearing at the Court of Appeal in London where is appeal was rejected by three head judges.
Dappy was found guilty of assault and affray in February and was given a six month sentence, suspended for 18 months, as well as being ordered to carry out 150 hours community service and pay compensation costs.
His co-defendants Keiran Vassell – the brother of the Dappy’s baby mother – and songwriter Alfred Miller also lost their appeal against their convictions.
Both of his co-defendants are currently serving jail terms.
