The two men who were killed during a high speed police chase in the early hours of Good Friday have been named as 33-year-old Shaka Henry and 38-year-old Gregory Jones.

The two died at the bridge at Seven Sisters Road when the Audi they were in was pursued by police, causing the driver of the car to clip a white van and crash into the bridge.

Police tried to save the two passengers but they were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, a 30-year-old man, tried to flee the scene and is currently in custody facing charges of causing death by dangerous driving, driving under the influence, driving without a licence and possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
