Last Wednesday, we stepped into a derelict building in the backstreets of Soho to take a sneak peek into the new H&M Autumn Collection 2013-14.
The Elms Lesters Painting Room was filled with bold theatrical ambiance, which was attributed to the brand new clothing range.
With Modern Drama being at the heart of the new collection, the Swedish fashion brand H&M, flaunted an assortment including lavish garments that were presented on the catwalk of Paris Fashion Week.
We were enticed by a deluxe range, which consisted of delicate sequin dresses and embellished shoulder pieces, juxtaposed against rough leather trousers with ankle zippers and ribbed patching and also some super-trendy military style jackets.
There is undoubtedly a tomboy essence being reflected through some of the ladies’ designs.
On the other hand, the menswear collection held on to its cool and relaxed signature style with smart cotton shirts and wool and jersey outerwear.
The colours were typically utilitarian shades, ranging from blacks and greys to off-whites. The collection also boasted beautiful metallic, faux fur coats and gorgeous silks.
You would be deceived into thinking that this new fearless range was high-fashion – we sure were!
Have a flick through the photos and see the collection for yourself!
