The self-proclaimed Girl On Fire, Alicia Keys kick-started the European leg of her tour on 18 May in Liverpool and has continued to dominate Britain’s stages with her undeniably powerful vocals.

Birmingham is the most recent city to be invaded by Alicia Keys mania as people gathered in their thousands at Birmingham National Indoor Arena to witness the spectacle.

Among the crowd included the lucky Pappzd competition winners: Edith Flore Monnif, T.J Eskin, Junior Rockson and Jocella Davis who won tickets to meet, greet and watch Alicia Keys perform!

“I still can’t believe I met her”  and “This is so surreal” were some of the words that competition winners uttered after meeting the New Day singer.

I think it’s safe to say that entering the competition on the Pappzd Magazine Facebook page was a great decision!

Popular RnB singer Miguel showed up in his Sunday best to warm up the crowd before Alicia Keys and wowed the audience, mainly women, with hits such as Adorn.

Surprisingly, he was not afraid to jump on and off stage regardless of the Billboard Awards mishap were he accidentally jumped and landed on a fan while doing his usual aerobics on stage!

The spotlight was then swiftly taken away from Miguel and remained on Alicia Keys who completely blew the crowd away with her performance including favourites such as Fallin’, If I Ain’t Got You and Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart.

She also sang material from her new album Girl On Fire but unsurprisingly received the liveliest response when she performed tracks from her past.

The RnB star looked stunning as she graced the stage and completed her signature move… playing the piano exquisitely!

Towards the end she changed outfit into a figure hugging, purple, backless dress and closed the show with Girl On Fire and Empire State Of Mind.

It was definitely a night to remember and a show worth catching!

Set The World On Fire tour continues in Nottingham on 28 May and ends its UK invasion in London on 30 and 31 May.
