Rita Ora has reportedly signed a £500,000 deal to become the new face of Madonna’s clothing range Material Girl.
The two met at the Met Ball last week and are said to have got on, with Rita already shooting a campaign ad for the brand which is run by Madonna and her daughter Lourdes.
A source told The Sun:
Lourdes has been a fan of Rita for a while and has been to many of her gigs. She persuaded her mum to see her. They met at the Met Ball in New York last week and Madonna admired Rita’s attitude so signed the idea off.
Rita jumped at the chance because she’s such a fan of the Queen Of Pop. She also hopes it will help her crack the States in the same way she has the UK.
If she is the new face of Material Girl, Rita will be following in the footsteps of Kelly Osbourne, Taylor Momsen and Georgia May Jagger as the celebrity ambassador for the fashion range which is sold in America.
With Rita Ora being the face of Superga and heavily featured on Rankin’s Hunger TV (as well as being written about nearly everyday), let’s hope she’s not running the risk of becoming overexposed!
