Last night some of the UK’s biggest names in music joined forces in support of a great anti-poverty movement launched by ONE Campaign.
This powerful movement, co-founded by music legend Bono, is a way for people to gather in unison and call for action against poverty in the weeks leading up to the G8 Summit.
The unannounced event kicked off right outside London’s iconic Tate Modern Gallery.
A congregation of people started to surround the grounds as London rapper Tinie Tempah took to the stage. Dressed in a black ensemble, some cool shades he gave the crowd an allusive and powerful performance of his smash hit Written In The Stars.
Jessie J also performed, and belting out some of her more popular tracks including Nobody’s Perfect and her brand new single Wild which features Dizzee Rascal and Big Sean.
The singer who previously shaved hair for a good cause, donned a sassy tanned leather jacket and flaunted her faultless vocals with great passion.
Also on the night were performances by Jake Bugg, Paolo Nutini, Alison Moyet and Sir Tom Jones.
