After what seems like the wait of a century, Kate Middleton has finally given birth to a baby boy. According to The Palace, Kate gave birth at 4.24pm to a bouncing baby boy, who weighed a healthy 8lbs 6oz. The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted into hospital at 6am on the 22 July and was driven to the Lindo wing of St Mary’s hospital. The same hospital where Princess Diana had her children.
The royal baby will become third in the line of succession, displacing Prince Harry to fourth and the Duke of York to fifth. And while Kate’s resting in bed, Prince William will reportedly take two weeks paternity leave and accept the full entitlement of £136.78 per week.
So what’s next for Kate, Will and the royal baby? A cover on Hello Magazine? An interview with Piers Morgan? Who knows. But for now we can all look forward to whether she’ll present the baby the Lion King way or Micheal Jackson style.
