Since the split of pop/RnB boyband JLS, the boys have been looking around wondering what to do with themselves now (except Marvin, who’s DJing and being a daddy).
JB Gill, however, has hinted that he’d love to run back to the arms of comfort and return to where his career began – at the X Factor.
He doesn’t want to be a contestant or a judge though, as he’s applied to be one of the mentors on the show, helping to guide and advise the next batch of wannabes.
He said of his possible career move:
I don’t know if any of the reality shows, like the X Factor, are currently looking for new mentors, but it would be lovely to be involved in that side of the industry as well.
Often it’s difficult for people breaking through to know the right things, know the wrong things, to know what to do.
He would know, seeing as he’s done all before.
JB isn’t a picky guy at all, as it seems that he’d be up for doing Strictly Come Dancing as well:
I can’t do the next series of Strictly because I’m on tour with the boys, but if I was free, it’s something I would have loved to have done. They did ask me to do it this year, but I couldn’t. But if they ask me again next year, then yeah, absolutely, I’d consider it.
So the long and short of it is… you’re willing to do anything to get your face on TV. Well why didn’t you just say that JB? Ain’t no shame!
