Dizzee Rascal rightfully takes to the throne in his new video for I Don’t Need A Reason which premiered on VEVO earlier today.

The latest to be taken from new album The Fifth, the song was produced by the infamous Jean Bapiste who is known for his work with artists like Kelis and Madonna and will be released on 18 August.

With a more dirty and heavy bass sound, the song sees Dizzee return to a musical style that suits him better than recent releases.

Dizzee has promised that his fifth studio album, due on 30 September, will be his biggest one yet.

In an interview with BBC Radio 1 earlier this year, he said:

It’s the best produced album I’ve done so far because of the calibre of producers I’m working with. It’s all big league. It’s like a party album.

With collaborations including Will.i.am, Angel and Tinie Tempah, the record is clearly anticipated but can it really beat his triumphant 2003 debut, Boy In Da Corner?
